It never fails to crack me up.  You can buy a kid a roomful of toys.  Yet, they want to play with odd, household items instead.  Case in point-Alex has been playing with this all day

yes, its a lemon.  Every once in awhile, he would nibble a bit off.  Guess he likes lemon zest.  Weird kid!
